Clinical Research Associate (Finance)
The Clinical Research Associate supports the clinical research mission of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences and its research programs at the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute. This position is responsible for a wide range of clinical trials support functions including scheduling and coordinating study visits, administering study assessments, and conducting interventions, data collections, and phlebotomy. This position provides research support functions at community events. This position is assigned to the USF Tampa Campus.Minimum:
This position requires a bachelor's degree in a field directly related to the program responsibilities and one year of professional experience; or a Master's degree in an area of specialization appropriate for the program.
Preferred:
Master's degree in area appropriate for the program; Experience working on clinical trials; Experience administering and using cognitive tests.The University of South Florida is a high-impact global research university dedicated to student success. Administers cognitive testing and rating scales per sponsor protocol; Ensures data collection and administration follows appropriate Federal, State, and University guidelines; Ensures administration and collection of assessments adhering to study protocols; Coordinates multiple clinical trial studies; Obtains and documents informed consent; Works within various systems to record , collect, and upload data including electronic databases, patient records, and status logs; Monitors medical record and lab sample collection; Ensures lab sample collection follows universal precautions; Conducts pre-screening; Interprets inclusion and exclusion criteria from study protocols; Submits continuing reviews to Institutional Review Boards; Ensures timely query resolution; Performs memory screening assessments; Participates in community outreach efforts. Other duties as assigned.
