Shuttle Bus Driver (Transportation)
Responsibilities include:
Safely transport clients to and from our facility, adhering to scheduled routes and
times.Maintain a positive, supportive atmosphere within the shuttle, offering a listening
ear or a word of encouragement.Ensure the vehicle is clean and operational, conducting pre- and post-trip
inspections.Assist clients as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort.Be an ambassador of our center's mission, treating all clients with dignity,
respect, and empathy.Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing the safety of passengers and
other road users at all times.Provide courteous and respectful assistance to clients, helping them enter and
exit the vehicle as needed.Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with clients,
respecting their privacy and dignity.Communicate effectively with clients and staff to ensure timely arrival and
departure from scheduled destinations.Monitor clients for any signs of distress or medical emergencies during
transportation, responding appropriately and seeking assistance when necessary.Document transportation activities accurately, including mileage, destinations,
and any incidents or observations during transit.Report any vehicle maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
promptly.Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required to stay informed
about company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications include:
Experience level 1 yearA minimum of a Class C CDL with a passenger endorsement.A clean driving record and a commitment to safety.Excellent interpersonal skills; a kind, patient demeanor.Previous driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.Ability to work the early morning and evening shifts as specified.
