This position must have strong leadership & organizational skills, a flexible schedule, and will supervise all aspects of the department - Assist and train all warehouse staff in all aspects of the inventory control department SOP functions – follow and adhere to all B&G SOPs, SQF, QC, QA, and HACCP programs, procedures & policies.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and monitor daily inbound and outbound shipments ensuring smooth workflow at the shipping and receiving docks.
- Prepare product for shipment by verifying location.
- Direct movement to the staging area.
- Distribute picking lists to warehouse operators ensuring all picks are completed and staged before pick-up appointments.
- Maintain shipping and receiving logs.
- Monitor inventory by preparing and verifying weekly cycle counts.
- Report all inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain daily forklift check-off logs ensuring these are done daily and the file is kept up to date.
- Prepare all documentation for posting and assist with posting if required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment ensuring all safety protocols are followed and the warehouse is routinely swept and cleaned.
