Principal Silicon Energy Efficiency Engineer (Finance)

NVIDIA Silicon Solutions Group is seeking a versatile engineer to be part of the HW ArchDev team. The SSG team is uniquely positioned to have an end-to-end view of the product development cycle - from early arch definition through bringup to product release.Our ArchDev arm is a hub for all silicon and system-level feature development, cost-benefit analysis, system integration solutions, and system POR alignment. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring external energy efficiency requirements are met across our various product lineups.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead new regulations benchmark creation efforts and represent NVIDIA in cross-industry forums like SPEC and ML Commons.
• Drive internal alignment across Architecture, Marketing, and Product teams on new energy efficiency benchmark proposals.
• Drive evaluation of new regulations proposals from regulatory bodies and assist in formulating feedback to guide and align strategic direction of regulations with NVIDIA roadmaps.
• Interpret global regulatory compliance requirements and translate them into silicon engineering specs to guide architectural and product decisions.
• Align teams on new energy-efficient requirements, evaluate product configuration/specs against regulation requirements, and communicate potential violations.

What We Need to See:

• BS or MS degree in EE/CE or equivalent experience
• Effective in a collaborative environment.
• 15+ years of experience in some of the following areas:
• Strong understanding of silicon active and low power features, binning, PVT power sensitivity, platform component losses
• Analyzing Data Center and Client use cases with emphasis on silicon idle power, energy efficiency, and sleep power.
• Power/Perf use case projections, validation, and debug on silicon

The base salary range is 232,000 USD - 368,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
