A Field Service Engineer works independently or with more experienced engineers in performing inspections, tuning, operational audits, pre-commissioning testing on boilers and environmental equipment, and writes estimates and proposals. At this level you have become proficient in certain areas and are now billable to our customers for your work, have demonstrated an increase in B&W product knowledge and are capable of delivering training to customers.
This position requires extensive travel (90%) including driving on client/customer property.
Participates in FMC contracts, proposals and business development on a minimal basis.
Interacts with customers, A/E's, vendors and sublet vendors.
