Vice President, Operational Risk Management (Finance)

Corporate - RiskThe Insurance, Product, Assumption, Model (IPAM) team enables Enterprise end-to-end management of Insurance, Product, Assumption, and Model Risk. This includes second line Operational Risk Management (ORM) responsibility for the company's Actuarial, Accounting Controllership, and Financial Reporting functions. We are seeking a Vice President, ORM to join our team to provide support and 2nd line operational risk coverage for these functions. This role provides a tremendous opportunity to interact with senior management and business partners as well as Audit, Law, Compliance and Risk Management counterparts across the company.
Risk's mission is to enable intelligent management decisions to help drive exceptional business, customer, and financial outcomes over the long term. This position is responsible for supporting an effective and efficient risk management program in accordance with the company's ORM framework. This position requires strong leadership and influence, sound judgment, project/process management and technical acumen.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide 2nd line risk guidance and assistance to Actuarial, Finance, and Controllers functions in managing operational risks in accordance with the Company's ORM framework. Foster proactive risk management aimed at achieving successful business outcomes. Be viewed as a trusted advisor regarding operational risk issues by key stakeholders. This includes ensuring that operational risks are properly identified, assessed, monitored, controlled and reported.
