The Kimberly-Clark Professional (KCP) Skin Care business provides a vital role for the organization's growth. When sold with KCP Towels and Tissue, KCP Skin Care is proven to reduce account churn. For the customer, it offers a single manufacturing contact for all essential washroom supplies, product solutions with familiar brands, and coordinating dispenser aesthetics. In this Category Manager role, you'll manage the portfolio of soap, sanitizer, hair & body wash, lotion, and air care solutions that make up the North America Skin Care P&L. This will be inclusive of identifying product innovation and/or renovation strategies, portfolio management, and commercial activation. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving category growth and profit improvement programs while maintaining alignment with brand & category strategy. This position reports to the Associate Director, North America Skin Care Solutions, and partners extensively with cross-functional partners to achieve Category objectives. This role is based in Roswell, GA, but remote candidates will be considered.
In this role, you will:
Manage the P&L for North America Skin Care to maximize profitable growth and market share
Build and leverage external market and internal insights that inform commercial execution to create and capture customer value
Build commercial value proposition for customers (end user, chooser, distribution & sales)
Partner with Integrated Marketing team to build and activate commercial sales and marketing plans from launch to revenue realization
Partner with Customer Marketing to align Reasons to Believe for product solutions and lead the development & execution of detailed product commercialization plans
Partner with Sales Capability to build capability of sales organization in assigned product categories to improve sales closure rates
Partner with the R&E, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to complete portfolio mapping, innovation/renovation pipeline, product value propositions & claims, and sales tools for NA Skin Care business
Partner with Supply Chain and R&E teams to manage North America renovation/cost improvement projects from kick-off to execution
Partner with NA Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to develop ongoing product forecasts and launch volumes for new products for NA Skin Care products
Define pricing plan based on North America pricing strategy, set prices for the US and Canada, and manage price increases for assigned product categories; approve pricing discounts/deals & monitor value equation competitiveness and adjust appropriately to deliver sales/profit targets
Manages product data and maintains accuracy in the product management systems for locally sourced Skin Care products; leads the creation of new codes and the extensions of new codes for locally sourced Skin Care products
Manages product/portfolio claims in the EtQ system, ensuring claims and substantiations are accurate and up-to-date
Partners with Packaging and Marketing teams to assure on-packing branding, product markings, and copy best communicate/position the product
Support the NA Regulatory, Quality, and Product Safety teams with market specific information for the NA Skin Care business
Partner with North America Category Sustainability Team to identify, prioritize, and resource initiatives to meet customer needs – including marketing, communications, and certifications
Manages assigned marketing budget within Corporate Financial Instructions

Bachelor's degree in business-related discipline
6+ years' experience in Marketing, Category/Brand Management, and/or Sales roles with a demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership behavior
Strong business and organizational acumen – understanding of market dynamics, P&L management & commercial mindset, project, and stakeholder management, etc
Strong analytical, decision making, influence, and compelling communication skills
Ability to craft vision and strategy and make it come to life with actionable plans
Ability to support product development, working with R&E, Supply Chain, and Quality, Regulatory & Compliance (QRC) teams
Managing & successfully influencing complex stakeholder relationships
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross functional teams to deliver strong plans
Proven capability to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track
Ability to travel as business needs require (up to 20%)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in B2B Sales (strongly preferred)
Masters / MBA with concentration in Marketing
Ability to grow within the Category organization

Salary Range: $106,000 - $130,000 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position is eligible for overtime pay and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
