Summer Internship in Threat Protection System (TPS) will provide an excellent opportunity to learn in detail about the fundamentals of networking protocols from L3 to L7. We will be looking at Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) Attacks that seek to exploit the vulnerabilities in these networking protocols. You will be exposed to different DDoS attacks and will study different techniques to mitigate against those attacks as well as look at how to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to detect them.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Linux development environment
• C/C++ and Python or similar languages
• Candidate in BS/MS/PhD for Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Deep understanding of OSI layers
• Knowledge of common networking protocols such as DNS, HTTP and TLS
• Debugging tools (GDB and Wireshark), source code version control such as git and subversion
• Deep understanding of operating system concepts and multi-threaded programming
• Familiarity with basic AI concepts and their applications
• Must be graduating between December 2025 and June 2026
• Available to work from May 28 - August 16 OR June 17 - September 6 - Summer 2025

Compensation: up to $52/hour
