The Department of Health Informatics Institute at University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine, USF Diabetes and Endocrinology Center is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine Endocrinologist for full-time, faculty position. All candidates must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license. The salary for this position is negotiable. USF DDE is administratively housed within- and has the support of the USF Health Informatics Institute in the development of research proposals and publication of findings. Currently USF DEC is #18 in USA based on US New ranking. \n Special Requirements Qualified candidates are expected to be outstanding clinicians that will contribute to expansion of USF DDE clinical services initiatives with a focus on pituitary disorders however, clinical and research activities in other general endocrinology areas will be supported. Responsibilities include participation in the USF DDE faculty call schedule, teaching for endocrine fellowship program, out-PT and in-PT services.Minimum Qualifications: \n

Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.

Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

BC/BE Internal Medicine Endocrinologist.

Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent required.

To perform this position, the candidate will need to obtain and maintain a full un-restricted FL Medical License, maintain credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan, and be a medical staff member in good standing at the hospitals he/she is assigned to perform clinical duties.

This position is expected to be an outstanding clinician that will contribute to the expansion of Center clinical services and clinical research initiatives with pituitary disorders and other general endocrine disorders, and consultative services to assist regional primary care physicians in their patient care.

This position's main focus will be on general endocrinology. Clinical responsibilities include outpatient clinical care, participation in the USF DC faculty call schedule, and consultation at area hospitals. Professional Development and other duties as assigned.
