UC Health is hiring a full time Sr. Communications Consultant
The Sr. Consultant will primarily support the advancement of the organization's reputation in the community. This position will develop and implement strategic content and programs that inspire and unite employees to become ambassadors of the organization both internally and externally.

Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related area.
3-5 years in Corporate, Internal, or Human Resources communications preferred. 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience.
HR Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with HR leadership to translate complex policies and procedures into clear, concise communications that resonate with employees at all levels.
Serve as a strategic partner to department leaders and key stakeholders, providing expertise and guidance on communication strategies to support organizational initiatives.
Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders to promote collaboration and alignment across departments, ensuring that communications efforts are integrated and cohesive.
Lead the development and execution of communication plans for major HR initiatives, such as benefits enrollment, performance management, and talent development programs.
Coordinate town hall meetings, focus groups, and other forums to facilitate open dialogue and information sharing between leadership and employees.
Develop training programs and resources to empower managers and supervisors to effectively communicate with their teams, ensuring consistency of messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
Internal and Leader Communications
Support the development and execution of a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with UC Health's goals and values.
Lead and execute communications across key leader audiences in the UC Family.
Provide leadership and guidance to the internal communications team, advancing a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Support setting clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of internal communications efforts and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Support the development of an annual communications calendar, outlining key messages, themes, and delivery channels to ensure consistent and timely communication with employees.
Conduct regular assessments of internal communication channels and platforms, identifying areas for enhancement and innovation to optimize employee engagement and satisfaction.
Establish processes for gathering feedback from employees on communication effectiveness, and leverage insights to refine strategies and tactics.
Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communications efforts, gathering feedback from employees and utilizing metrics to inform future strategies and maintain our top-ranking status.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in internal communications, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation to further elevate our national reputation.
Lead efforts to evaluate and implement new communication tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal communications processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
