Business Process Analyst (Information Technology)
Analyze and document existing workflows, identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements.
Provide support for troubleshooting issues, escalating complex problems to the technical support team as needed.
User Training & Documentation
Develop and deliver training materials, including guides, tutorials, and FAQ documents, to support end-user adoption and proficiency in key software applications.
Conduct hands-on training sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, to ensure that employees understand system functionality and best practices.
Maintain and update knowledge base resources to reflect the latest system updates and process changes.
Project Support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software implementations and updates are aligned with business requirements.
Assist in testing new software features, updates, and bug fixes before they are released to end-users.
Data Management & Reporting
Monitor user interactions and issues, gathering data to help identify recurring themes and improvement areas.
Generate reports to track support requests, resolutions, and any identified trends that impact business processes.
Provide recommendations based on data insights to enhance system performance and user satisfaction.
Perform related tasks as needed.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field; or equivalent education and experience.
Strong knowledge of business process workflows, systems, and data management.
Excellent communication, training, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
At least three years of relevant work experience.
Experience with complex software applications, including Enterprise Asset Management systems (for example, Hexagon EAM, Maximo, SAP ERP, eMaint CMMS).
Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite of software products, including Teams and SharePoint.
Effective workplace skills as demonstrated through WorkKeys assessments (Workplace Documents - 5, Applied Math - 5, Graphic Literacy - 5).
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
This is a full-time position with a standard workweek. Occasional additional hours may be required to support urgent issues, particularly during new process implementations.
Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
Mental ability to frequently handle pressures related to working on multiple projects requiring attention to detail and dealing with the concerns of employees.
Normal office environment with minimum discomfort due to noise, dirt, and dust.
Periodic exposure to fumes, odors, dust, and/or dirt while at operating facilities.
