Job Description:
The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their support team, ensuring system security and access policies are followed and maintained, and participating in the CAB process for infrastructure changes. This role involves managing vendor escalations, maintaining system uptime and stability, and ensuring that processes and procedures are followed during the deployment of new services.
The IT Manager will also support the Application Services teams, seek ways to improve services and processes, and participate in Critical Infrastructure Response Team escalation calls as needed.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience managing IT Infrastructure Teams in an enterprise environment, strong communication and troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of industry-standard IT processes and procedures, including ITIL standards. Experience with large-scale IT implementations, Microsoft Windows Server in a Hyper-V virtualized environment, TCP/IP networking, Windows system management tools, and cloud administration is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have a background in supporting highly available systems, Windows and network security practices, and Windows automation. Experience with or desire to learn Azure Local. Leadership competencies such as client focus, results orientation, integrity, entrepreneurial orientation, and decisiveness are also crucial for this role.
Job Responsibilities
· Responsible for day-to-day direction for their support team
· Ensure system security and access policies are followed and maintained
· Participates in Change Approval Board process for Epiq infrastructure changes for their region
· Responsible for vendor escalations as required
· Ensures systems uptime and stability
· Ensures process & procedures are followed and documentation is completed when new services are deployed
· Ensure Business Unit needs are met within agreed upon timelines
· Supports Application Services teams as needed
· Continually seeks ways to improve services and processes
· Participate in Critical Incident Response Team escalation calls with their team members as required
Qualifications and Skills
· 5+ years of experience managing IT Infrastructure Teams in an enterprise environment
· Strong Communication skills, verbal and written
· Experience with large scale IT implementations
· Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex issues
· Strong knowledge of industry standard IT processes and procedures including ITIL standards
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server running in a Hyper-V virtualized environment
· Background in supporting Highly Available systems (clustering, etc.)
· Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking (DNS, DHCP)
· Experience with Windows system management tools and capacity reporting/planning, philosophies, methods
· Experience in Windows and Network security practices and strategies
· Understanding of Windows automation (scripting, imaging, installation, management)
· Has experience in or has managed SCCM / MECM and understands patch management
· Background in Cloud administration and / or managed Azure operations team
· Experience with or desire to learn Azure Local
· Strong knowledge of Active Directory in a multi-forest environment

The Compensation range for this role is 105,711.30 - 211,422.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
