General Summary:
The purpose of the warehouse position is to provide for the accurate and timely movement of materials in and out of the warehouse. Accountable for the accuracy of all transactions and will be responsible for the appearance of an assigned area. Ability and willingness to cross-train within a specific job function and other duties as assigned will be high expectations of this position.
Responsibilities:
Perform activities in a safe manner. Must always be on the lookout for safety issues for all associates. Unload/load trailers; read/understand packing slips, freight bills/damages, and customer returns. Process shipments of products; confirm pick lists and labels and coordinate shipments. Ensure all product is properly packaged and labeled prior to loading and shipping. Responsible for final audits and other duties as assigned. Able to be cross-trained in various areas of the warehouse as needed. Meet quality, efficiency, and other performance expectations. Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with co-workers, employers, customers, and suppliers and be a team player. Uphold a strong desire to learn new and changing technologies. Perform other duties as assigned.
