GENERAL SUMMARY
The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for executing the Supplier Quality plan utilizing AM General processes and procedures to ensure purchased production parts meet quality requirements in support of AM General production and delivery. This role includes supporting the Supplier Selection process, leading suppliers through the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), monitoring supplier performance, managing suppliers to continuously improve, and conducting problem solving in response to production issues related to supplier quality. The SQE work's cross-functionally with other departments and the supply-base to ensure supplier quality is delivered in support of business objectives.
