Product Manager, Data & Analytics (Finance)

We are recruiting for a Product Manager, Data and Analytics to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. This role will be hybrid, working two days a week in the office, and remote the remainder of the week.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data and Analytics Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategy, governance, and implementation of data initiatives across the organization. This role acts as a critical liaison between stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on data consumption needs. The focus is on optimizing processes for collecting, organizing, storing, and sharing data to empower decision-making and drive business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide strategic leadership for product development by defining the strategy, vision, product roadmaps, prioritizing feature development, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful product launches.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including requirements gathering from various stakeholders, end to end architecture/design, development, testing, integration, and iteration.
Work across the organization to align product strategies with business goals, manage resources, and facilitate effective collaboration between product teams and other departments to drive product success and customer satisfaction.
Develop technology and product roadmaps to provide visibility of risk and improvement options to maintain a proactive attitude among the digital product team.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to influence product features and prioritization to successfully deliver value to the users and company.
Facilitate continuous and cross-communication across functional units and stakeholder groups, establishing relationships with collaborators at every organizational level.
Define the strategy for product iterations, schedules, releases, and roadmaps to maintain speed to market and differentiation.
Discover, design, and document business requirements and make sure that data scientists, data engineers, QA Engineers, BI engineers, and application developers have enough information to deliver high-value software code.
Work with users, business product owners (BPO), release managers and other stakeholders towards requirements and prioritizing features along with synchronizing the release plans across multiple products.
Translate complex data capabilities into tangible business value.
Gather and analyze user requirements to inform the design and development of reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights.
Organize/lead meetings for collaboration and process implementations, status reporting and presentations, supporting resource and budget management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
6 years of experience in a data analytics or working in an Information Technology field supporting Data Analytics/Engineering.
2 years product management experience, including defining, developing and launching successful products.
3 years of experience utilizing SQL, data modeling principles and data architecture.
2 years of experience leading teams.
Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to analyze data, extract insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.
Experience partnering with cross-functional business stakeholders to convey complex concepts and translate them to different audience.
Familiarity with big data technologies.
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, data mining techniques, statistical modeling, and other relevant technologies.
