Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager (Project Management)
Benefit Plan Analysis: analyzing current benefit plans, identifying areas for improvement and recommending optimal coverage options
Renewal Process & Open Enrollment: Managing the annual renewal process, including negotiating with insurance carriers; assisting clients with open enrollment activities
Claims Management: Addressing client concerns regarding claims issues, working with carriers to resolve disputes
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws pertaining to employee benefits
Sales Support: Collaborating with sales teams to present proposals to potential clients
Skills for Success in this Role:
Strong understanding of employee benefits products, including health, dental, vision, life and disability plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and present complex information
Analytical skills to assess client needs, develop proposals, and interpret data
Proven track record in account management and client retention
Requirements:
At least 3 years experience in the employee benefits industry or related industries
A GED or high school diploma is required; Bachelors degree is a plus
Must hold or be willing to earn appropriate insurance license
Proficiency in MS Office products
