Child Group Teacher - First Step (Healthcare)
High school diploma or GED required.
A minimum 12 units of Child Development or related classwork required.
Two years of child-related experience or equivalent training with knowledge of child growth and development and nurturing guidance strategies preferred.
Essential Job Functions:

Maintain confidential information of agency business, clients, and employees to legal standards and/or local regulations.
Physical capability to lift over 20 pounds and engage in physical activity.
Responsibilities:
Complete a developmental assessment on each child.
Document client progress in progress notes and update to partner agencies.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for children.
Plan and implement daily age-appropriate activities.
Act as a role model for clients and children.
Assist with data collection to meet program needs.
Responsible for preventing and controlling infection.
Responsible for maintaining a culture of quality and safety.
Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis prevention.
Properly administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide.
