Director, Product Engineering (Project Management)

As the Director, Product Engineering, you will be crucial in leading our low-code modernization initiatives to ensure delivery of well-architected, resilient products that delight our federal clients. As a critical member of our technical leadership team, you will drive architectural excellence and innovation across our diverse platform portfolio including Salesforce, Microsoft, Pega, Appian, and ServiceNow.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead and coordinate architecture excellence initiatives across multiple project teams, establishing frameworks that promote product resiliency, scalability, and maintainability
· Serve as the primary technical liaison between delivery teams, company leadership, and federal stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical objectives and deliverables
· Drive platform-specific Centers of Excellence for each low-code practice, ensuring technical excellence and innovation across all implementations
· Provide expert technical guidance and consultation on product engineering strategies, architectural approaches, and technology solutions
· Monitor and enforce technical standards to eliminate change-related resiliency incidents across all federal projects
· Guide technical direction for application modernization initiatives while maintaining excellence in security, reliability, and performance efficiency
· Provide technical advisory support to business development, capture and proposal management processes
· Build and maintain strategic relationships with platform vendors to ensure optimal utilization of capabilities
· Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both internal leadership and federal program leaders
· Foster a culture of innovation while maintaining focus on federal compliance and security requirements
· Provide project-specific support as required (technical architect, solution architect, other qualified functional support based on project needs)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Proven experience (at least 15 years) in Enterprise Application Migration/Modernization or related technology
· Strong knowledge of agile and DevSecOps best practices
· Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (PaaS and SaaS), containerization platforms, microservices frameworks, API management platforms, and low code/no code platforms
· Excellent technical leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
· Proven experience in stakeholder management across internal teams and federal clients
· Strong technical liaison capabilities with demonstrated success in bridging communication between delivery teams and leadership
· Extensive experience with low-code platform delivery (Salesforce, Microsoft, Pega, Appian, ServiceNow)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
· Low-Code Certifications such as Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect, and Data Architect are a plus
· Track record of successful technical advisory roles
· Deep understanding of federal IT modernization requirements and compliance standards
EDUCATION:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Management Information Systems, or closely related field
CLEARANCE:
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
