Our broader Integrated Design/Advisory Vertical is focused on providing full-service Planning, Design, Architecture, Engineering (MEP, Structural and Fire Protection), Cybersecurity, Commissioning, Cost Management, and Program Management services for Government, Institutional, and Private Sector clients. This specific role, working with both operational and client development leadership will play a crucial role in driving business growth while ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Michael Baker International is seeking an Architecture Department Manager, focused on leading our Dallas, TX Architecture Team. This leadership position provides oversight and direction for our Architecture resources, within our multi-disciplinary Practice, as well as evolving Market Sectors; and encompasses establishing and implementing goals and objectives, developing, and promoting the Practice's values and strategic plans, and positioning the Practice for growth. Promoting a seller-doer culture, this leadership position is also focused on growing local/regional business development, relationships, and opportunities, as well as protecting and growing established markets such as Federal, Aviation, Transit, and Healthcare, in conjunction with our multi-disciplinary Practice leadership team.
Priorities include marketing/proposal development, emphasizing creative design solutions, technical execution, and performance excellence for Architecture projects worldwide. This position provides leadership for multi-disciplinary, collaborative project design teams comprising architects, interior designers, civil engineers, and building systems engineers (SMEPFP). Specific candidate responsibilities include:
The salary range for this position is $119,000- $207,000. The actual salary offered will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
