Training Coordinator - 2nd Shift (Finance)

Responsibilities
- Evaluating the skills of team members, and identifying any need for re-training by partnering with supervisors and managers.
- Be a mentor for your trainees, leading by example in all areas, including: performance, attendance, attitude, and behavior.
- Learn all positions within the warehouse to ensure a foundation of comprehensive knowledge for identifying training needs.
- Actively contribute your opinions and suggestions regarding how we can further improve our training program.
- Be a leader regarding safety, quality, and productivity standards.
What to Expect Each Day
- 10 to 20 minutes of computer/paperwork time at beginning of your shift.
- 2 hours of quality control pre-audits
- 20-minute break
- 4 to 5 hours on the floor observing, evaluating, training, and improving operations
- 20-minute break
- 10 to 20 minutes of computer/paperwork time at end of shift - including end of day email.
Requirements
- 1+ year of distribution facility experience.
- 1+ year of leadership and/or training experience.
- Knowledge of basic distribution facility safety practices.
- Proven ability to provide immediate, on-the-spot coaching.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and navigate difficult conversations.
Work Environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs throughout shift.
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift.
- Temperature fluctuations match outside environment (hot outside, hot inside - cold outside, cold inside)
Pay, Shift, & Location
- $20.00/hr, plus $2.50/hr shift differential.
- 2 nd Shift - 3:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed.
