Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer (Finance)
As an Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer, you will assist and support our engineering team on challenging and exciting water & wastewater projects (both public and private) in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This position is available in our Dover, DE office.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the design of system components and the coordination of multiple disciplines across a portfolio of major, moderate, and minor water/wastewater projects.
• Perform all design efforts in accordance with current regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, staff engineers, designers and sub-consultants on multiple concurrent projects from planning through final design, construction, and commissioning.
• Assist in direction of project planning, budgeting, and establishing critical project objectives.
• Conduct site visits and field inspections to gather data and assess project requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform hydraulic modeling analysis.
• Support the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or a related field required.
• Strong interest in water and wastewater systems.
• 0-2 years of related civil design experience.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation skills desirable.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members.
• Valid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving practices.
