Your Next Career Opportunity – Senior Manager, Program Management
The primary function of this position is to oversee the Program Management of the Asset Development and Preservation department and act as a strategic advisor to the Domestic Operations Leadership Team. The program management team is responsible for ensuring end customer success, workstream management, and budget adherence. This position communicates with senior management on ways to drive results forward, maximize internal performance, and otherwise provide strategic counsel as needed.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy:
Develop and implement program management strategies, methodologies, and best practices that align with our strategic goals and objectives.
Provide leadership and direction to the Program Management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in support of each business line owner.
Drive the creation and delivery of executive-level presentations and present new ideas and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Program and Project Management:
Initiate and set up large-scale programs with a strong emphasis on financial oversight, growth theme planning, and robust project setup to ensure execution success.
Oversee data-driven governance processes at regular intervals to ensure projects are on time, within scope, and within budget.
Partner with Sales for long-term planning and overall growth themes
Standup vendor management and strategic sourcing program to assist in reduction in unit cost as well as identifying strategic partners that align with growth themes.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with senior leadership, and other department heads to prioritize and align projects with business objectives.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Resource Management:
Allocate resources effectively across projects and programs, including level loading with focus on profit and loss and customer delivery.
Ensure the project teams have the necessary skills and training to deliver high-quality results.
Develop and maintain force to load model for budget planning and headcount allocation
Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve processes and tools.
Implement industry best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery.
Monitor and report on workstream performance metrics and KPIs.
Lead initiatives to modernize reporting processes and implement advanced tools and technologies that enhance the efficiency of operations, utilizing data visualization software such as Power BI, tableau, or Google Data Studio.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high-performing team member.
Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement, and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Lead team members using a performance management and development-focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
