Contractor Sales (Senior Sales) (Project Management)
Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial clients in the Western Wisconsin region.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on growing our contractor sales segment.
Provide expert knowledge and recommendations on building materials, products, and solutions to meet the unique needs of contractors and their projects.
Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery, competitive pricing, and seamless service for clients.
Track sales performance, forecast trends, and report on activities to leadership.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product offerings, and competitor activity to effectively communicate the value of Scherer Bros. products.
Participate in marketing and promotional activities to support business growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the building materials, construction, or related industry, with a strong focus on contractor or commercial sales.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business within a competitive market.
In-depth knowledge of building materials, products, and the construction industry.
Strong customer relationship-building skills with a consultative approach to sales.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and close sales effectively.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
