Flexible schedule position that provides services to external clients, outside the walls of a Brookdale Senior Housing Community with assistance and companionship, while recognizing clients individual needs and encourages independence.Works independently in the clients personal home with supervision and support as per state regulations.Provides non-medical hands on care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, personal care, and assistance with transfers.Provides personal care to clients per their individualized plan of care, and one on one companionship to client.May assist clients with medication as defined in medication procedure.Performs general housekeeping duties, following cleaning schedules for client laundry, bedrooms, dining area, living space, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.Assists with pet care as needed.Provides transportation to doctor's appointments and other errands.Attends and participates in required training.Maintains client confidentiality.Communicates effectively with the clients, families, and collaborative team.
