Position Summary
A leader within a strong, proactive compliance testing program. Responsible for the development and implementation of testing to identify and mitigate potential consumer compliance risk focused on various consumer focused Federal and State laws and regulations.
What You'll Do
Maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge of the requirements of business processes, technology and the various consumer based laws, regulations and rulings within scope of the Compliance team. Keep abreast of regulatory updates through reading, classes, seminars, etc.
Review Bank systems, forms, contracts and disclosures to provide effective oversight with applicable consumer compliance laws, rules, and regulations.
Follow the Compliance Testing Methodology to conduct Testing reviews and manage testing team members assigned to reviews being conducted.
Prepare workpapers and reports to document the test work performed, conclusions reached, and compliance-related issues. Drafts test documents in a pertinent, concise, and accurate manner.
Discusses potential issues with the Business lead, supports the business in identifying root cause, and provides effective challenge to the action plan to resolve the issues.
Trains new Compliance Testing team members on the Testing Methodology and in-scope consumer compliance regulations.
Conducts Validation of Compliance Issues to determine if the identified issue has been remediated.
Conducts second review of workpapers and draft reports to oversee the implementation of the Testing Methodology and internal procedures.
Qualifications:
5 years of banking and/or banking compliance.
Bachelors Degree is preferred.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000-$110,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
