Business Planning Analyst (Finance)

Work Hours: Monday - Friday Standard working hours

Location: Virtual

As our Business Planning Analyst, you will:

• Support the team through enhanced advanced data gathering, reporting, analytics, and dashboard automation. Power BI expert, SQL, and/or other languages.
• Drive the optimization of data analysis and reporting for Lakeside Book Company
• Key player in developing, maintaining, and continuously improving insightful reports.
• Report migration from Excel to Power BI visualizations, creating the link with the ERP system and/or the active data sources. Work actively with the IT team to align to the protocols and guidance in the data visualization creations and systems interfaces.
• Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns with supporting research and recommendations.
• Part of the S&OP process implementation team across all Lakeside Book Company

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of SQL and/or other analytic language, and strong experience in analyzing large structured datasets. Query creation.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills in order to bring complex data analysis to actionable knowledge for business decisions.
• Experience in generating process documentation and reports
• Proven experience in Power BI, Advanced Dashboards, KPI visual tools. (Portfolio required)
• Proficient in Power Point and Excel (advanced), Macros, Visual Basic (preferred)
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and end users across a wide variety of teams.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and working experience with interface, tables, and query creation.
• This role requires strong analytical mindset, innovative thinking and ability to proactively keep up with the fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving skills, ability to connect the dots, and turn large volumes of data into impactful insights to fuel strategic business decisions.
