Welder (Finance)

Babcock and Wilcox/Diamond Power has an open position for a 1st Shift Welder. Starting rate is $29.41

The idea Candidate must pass a weld certification test using the GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW processes.

Candidate must have knowledge and understanding of the following tools and equipment:

• Operate GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW equipment, shielding gas mixers, fixtures, rotating positioner, torches, overhead crane, measuring tools and hand tools.
• Pass visual and bend tests

• The welding candidate must have a High School Degree or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years welding experience performing welding operations using Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW-S & GMAW-P), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) processes to produce welds in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and in accordance with contract specific requirements and blueprints.
