Patient Transportation Manager (Finance)
The Patient Transportation Manager is responsible for the effective leadership of Patient Transportation services which includes the successful management of supervisors, finances, client relations, patient and customer satisfaction, program quality standards, performance improvement, and personnel performance.Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED; Preferred: Bachelor's Degree. | Minimum Required: 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience; Preferred: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience.Develops and executes the daily activities of the Patient Transportation Department in accordance with customer expectations, service requirements, and objectives. Schedule, coordinate, and manage daily work assignments of staff. Insure efficient flow of trip assignments. Develop policies and procedures and coordinate with other departments. Continually evaluate operations and make staff adjustments as needed to increase efficiency and productivity.
Secures and develops supervisors and associates through training so they meet performance standards. Evaluates and counsels personnel on work performance. Makes recommendations for hiring and termination of associates.
Manages information technology systems and data analysis for decision support. Compile statistical reports including productivity and analysis reports utilizing computer data base when possible.
Creates and manages the budget by controlling expenditures to ensure accuracy of operating and administrative budget.
Establishes operating standards and implements quality improvements.
