Specialty Rx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. Specialty Rx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.
Notice:SpecialtyRx is seeking a Travel Pharmacy Technician for our Harrisburg, PA location.

Travel Pharmacy Technician/ADS Requirements:
Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisorMaintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff, primarily through emailUtilize various applications (myQlink, OmniCenter) to obtain reportsMaintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date)Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billingReplace potentially expiring inventoryRestock depleted inventoryMonthly audits (cycle count)Provide reports for the facilityComplete any other task assigned by the supervisor
Travel Pharmacy Technician/ADS Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalentPrevious pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferredGood organizational skills and detail-orientedBasic math and analytical skillsAble to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problemsAbility to physically perform light liftingWilling to drive long distances in the state of PA
