Line Cook - Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista (Finance)

Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista is searching for a talented Full-Time Line Cook ll to join their culinary team!

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working as both a hot and cold line cook, with strong proficiency in prep work, knife skills, and a thorough understanding of cooking temperatures. They should exhibit a sense of urgency, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for the culinary arts. We are looking for a dedicated and driven professional ready to take the next step in their career. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential. Previous experience in a hotel setting and banquet operations is preferred.

Shift Pattern: This position will primarily support evening operations. Open availability is required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Typical shift hours are 3:15 PM - 11:15 PM; however, flexibility is needed for cross-training.

Pay Range: $20.80 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Cook ll, you would be responsible for preparing cold food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Prepare cold food items including, but not limited to, salads, fruits, dressings, fish items and appetizers, according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
• Ensure knowledge of menu and food products
• Stock and maintain designated food stations(s)
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
